CeeDee Breaks Silence After 4 Costly Drops

September 05, 2025 | Edition #39

👋 Howdy, Cowboys Nation!

Same old gut punch. A lightning delay, a Sanders fumble, CeeDee’s drops, and a defense that couldn’t close. The Cowboys had chances, but the ending felt like the last 30 years on repeat. Now the question: can this team finally change the script, or is 2025 just another rerun?

Let's take you through some post game thoughts in this special edition!

All fingers point to one person after that loss (according to CeeDee)

CeeDee Lamb stood on the sideline in the final moments, tapping his chest as if to tell everyone what they already knew: this one was on him.

The Cowboys’ star wideout had a night he’ll want back, and the game itself seemed to slip right through his fingers. A drop here or there happens — even to the best. But two? That’s pushing it. Three? Now you’re in ‘remember that game?’ territory. And four? That’s the kind of night folks in Dallas will be talking about all week.

It wasn’t the first time, either. Lamb led the league with seven drops last season, and for a player of his talent (and paycheck) that storyline can’t keep following him.

The Cowboys scored more points in the first half (20) against the Eagles than in all of 2024 combined (13 total points in two games).

Guyton snuck in a left hook on an Eagles rusher—mid-play—and the refs missed it. Wild.
