A member of the famed 1975 “Dirty Dozen” draft class, Scott Laidlaw was picked by the Cowboys in the 14th round and went on to become one of just nine players in franchise history drafted in the 10th round or later to spend at least five seasons with the team. During his tenure, Dallas reached the playoffs every year, appeared in three Super Bowls, and captured the Lombardi Trophy in 1977.
