The Dallas Cowboys’ outside linebacker Donovan Ezeiruaku underwent offseason surgery to repair his hip labrum and is expected to miss most of the team’s spring program. Ezeiruaku, the Cowboys’ second-round pick in 2025, is projected to be fully cleared by the time Dallas travels to Oxnard, California for training camp.
During his rookie season, he appeared in all 17 games and made nine starts, recording 40 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble. On Thursday, Brian Schottenheimer confirmed that Ezeiruaku will transition to outside linebacker in Christian Parker’s new defensive system, a move the organization believes will maximize his impact.
