As the team pushes to turn the tide with a sweeping coaching overhaul, they have set their sights on Pittsburgh.






The 1990s Cowboys earned their first playoff victory in 1991, knocking off the Bears in Chicago in the NFC wild-card round. Steve Beuerlein started at quarterback and had gone 4–0 late in the regular season while replacing an injured Troy Aikman.


This “Too Tall” Cowboys defensive end, a first-round pick in 1974, was the player of the game in Dallas’ 23–6 win over Minnesota in the 1977 NFC Championship.
