While the team appears intent on taking an aggressive approach this offseason, Dallas’ circumstances indicate its biggest stars need to make some sacrifices.

The first indoor Super Bowl was played in the New Orleans Superdome and turned into a defensive battle. Dallas’ Doomsday Defense faced Denver’s Orange Crush and dominated the game. The Cowboys forced eight turnovers and held Denver quarterback Craig Morton to just eight completions for 61 yards. Roger Staubach completed 17 of 25 passes for 183 yards without an interception.
