Jerry Forced Micah’s Dad to Abandon Lifelong Commitment

September 29, 2025 | Edition #63

👋 Howdy, Cowboys Nation!

Micah Parsons came back to Dallas, made his presence felt, and… nothing. The Cowboys and Packers finished 40-40, the highest-scoring tie in decades. Parsons sacked Dak Prescott on Dallas’ best OT chance, the teams traded FGs, and that was it. Heart rates through the roof, and no winner. Let’s unpack the post-game thoughts.

Cowboys, Packers End in 40-40 OT Stalemate

So.. that was something. Dallas stumbled early, giving up two quick Packers touchdowns, but a blocked extra point returned for two points jolted them awake. Dak Prescott found a groove without CeeDee Lamb, hitting George Pickens, Jake Ferguson, and Jalen Tolbert on a 95-yard drive that put Dallas ahead 16-13 at halftime. Both teams traded scores in the second half, keeping fans on edge.

In the final minutes, KaVontae Turpin’s 45-yard kickoff return set up a clutch drive, but a 53-yard McManus FG tied it, sending the game to OT. Prescott made big third-down plays, yet Micah Parsons’ pressure and Green Bay’s defense forced a field goal. The Packers’ final Hail Mary fell short, and the game ended in a wild 40-40 tie.

The 40-40 tie was the first 40-40 tie in NFL history, and the first Cowboys game to end in a tie since 1969.
