Back in 2006, well before Jones implemented a poison pill into Parsons' deal, the Vikings had a clause that if any O-lineman on the team made more than Steve Hutchinson (then Seahawks) his entire contract would be guaranteed. The Seahawks couldn’t accept it as they already had a lineman earning more.
