Prescott Addresses Schotty's Concerns

October 06, 2025 | Edition #70

👋 Howdy, Cowboys Nation!

Cowboys shook off recent struggles and returned to form with a dominant 37-22 road win over the winless New York Jets. Despite injuries across the offensive line and wide receiver corps, Dak Prescott, Javonte Williams, and a surprisingly explosive supporting cast powered Dallas to their first road victory over the Jets since 2003. Let’s unpack the post-game thoughts.

Cowboys Run Past Jets Despite Injuries

The Cowboys finally shook their road curse against the Jets, rolling 37-22 without stars like CeeDee Lamb, KaVontae Turpin, and a patchwork OL. Dak Prescott threw for 237 yards and four TDs, Javonte Williams ran for 132 yards and a score, and Ryan Flournoy torched the Jets for 114 yards by halftime, powering a 30-3 lead.

The Jets got a couple late TDs, but it was too little, too late. Dallas’ mix of offense and timely stops on defense delivered a statement win, showing this team can thrive even amid injuries and chaos.

Javonte Williams became the fifth Cowboys player with five-plus rushing touchdowns in the team's first five games of a season, joining Ezekiel Elliott, DeMarco Murray, Emmitt Smith and Calvin Hill.
