Despite being waived and re-signed twice, Malik Davis earned a spot on the Cowboys’ active roster as the second option behind Javonte Williams. His persistence paid off on Christmas against Washington, with Williams sidelined by a shoulder injury. Davis stepped up, helping the Cowboys hold off the Commanders and recording his first career 100-yard game with 103 yards on 20 carries.
