February 20, 2026 | Edition #215

👋 Howdy, Cowboys Nation!

Tony Romo is back in the spotlight, seemingly placing blame on Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott, and the drama doesn’t stop there. As fans await the outcome of the latest contract talks, a Cowboys legend has weighed in on George Pickens' situation. Here’s what we have lined up for you today.

According to Romo, the Cowboys’ quarterback may have indirectly influenced one of the team’s most debated decisions.

After four seasons in Miami, including 17 starts in 2024, Rob Jones signed a one-year, $3 million deal with Dallas last March hoping to secure the starting right guard job. Those plans shifted after the Cowboys drafted Tyler Booker, and Jones’ opportunity vanished when a neck injury early in training camp required surgery and sidelined him for the entire season. A return in 2026 appears unlikely, especially with T.J. Bass and Brock Hoffman in the mix as restricted free agents. Still, if Jones fully recovers and is available at the right price, a depth reunion can’t be completely ruled out.

Do you think we’ll see the same contract drama with Pickens as we did with Parsons?
