Terence Newman, one of the highest-drafted defensive players in Cowboys history, has been included among 76 players on the 2026 ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame. Chosen No. 5 overall by Dallas in 2003, Newman spent nine seasons with the Cowboys and earned two Pro Bowl nods. Before his 15-year NFL career, he starred at Kansas State, winning 39 games, earning two All-American honors, and being named the 2002 Big XII Defensive Player of the Year.
