Do you have questions about what the Cowboys should do with the 12th and 20th picks in the first round? Ask our draft expert! |

Terence Newman, one of the highest-drafted defensive players in Cowboys history, has been included among 76 players on the 2026 ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame. Chosen No. 5 overall by Dallas in 2003, Newman spent nine seasons with the Cowboys and earned two Pro Bowl nods. Before his 15-year NFL career, he starred at Kansas State, winning 39 games, earning two All-American honors, and being named the 2002 Big XII Defensive Player of the Year.

On Sept. 11, 2005, Aaron Glenn sealed a 28–24 Cowboys win in San Diego with a late end-zone interception. Which future Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker also made his rookie debut that day? |
Most of you picked Troy Aikman in yesterday’s trivia, but with Aikman sidelined by injury, it was Steve Beuerlein who got the start and led Dallas to a 25–13 win, clinching a spot in the playoffs.
